Form 9-1-1 (Application form for dissertation advisor) Based on the "Guidelines for Doctoral Advisors at National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences, Department of Nursing," qualifications for doctoral advisors include one of the following:

1.Serving as an academician at the Academia Sinica or having been a researcher there

2.Holding at least an associate professorship (inclusive) with a doctoral degree for three years, and concurrently possessing one of the following qualifications:

 o Published at least one article as the first author or corresponding author in SCI/SSCI within the last three years

 o Having been the principal investigator of a research project funded by the National Science Council within the last two years.

Doctoral students must select their thesis advisor before enrolling in courses for the first semester of their second year. The thesis advisor must be a primary-appointed nursing faculty member in the department, approved by the department head. According to the regulations on the selection and change of thesis advisors at National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences, students wishing to change their thesis advisor must fill out a "Change of Graduate Thesis Advisor Application Form" provided by the university.
